Default app to use based on Bluetooth device

Hi!

I'd like to be able to control which app is used depending on the Bluetooth device that I am connected to. For example, when I connect to my car, I'd like to play music using Sony's Walkman app. When I connect to my JBL headphones, I'd like BeyondPod to be the app that is launched when I press play. Is there a way/app to allow me to configure this?

My phone is an Sony Xperia Z2.

Thanks!

Assuming that there are even APIs in Android to allow you to detect which device has connected, you (or someone else) would have to write an app to do that, as far as anything I've seen.

I have the same issue...I have to press play on my phone despite a play button being visible on my dashboard. It's just kind of a pain to have to dig into my pocket every time I get in the car. Anyone have an idea?
