I have a paused icon on the lock screen under the date & time. How can I get rid of it?

I have a paused icon on the lock screen under the date & time.

I've had my phone several months and it just appeared. I tried the additional information trick but the pedometer was slightly off color and i had to shut off additional information and now I have no weather info.
