Touch screen isue weird spot on screen

Hi guys, I have a Samsung galaxy grand prime and recently I found a weird spot on my screen. it's like when you put magnets close to the screen. I have this spot on my and it wont go away, only if I remove the battery . It gets in the way of using the phone efficiently since it doesn't let me use the keybord and scroll the pages. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that the weird spot is visible, or that it just doesn't respond to touch? Is it in the same spot regardless of phone orientation?
