New phone and unable to view file contents of my BLU vivo XL5 on my computer. I could not find any reference to Storage & USB in the settings. So I contacted BLU customer service who unhelpful. They repeatedly told me to locate the USB settings.
My friend who has the BLU vivo XL4 was able to find the setting, but I could not.
I finally found the setting buried in the Developer's options menu. So if anyone wants to transfer their media contents from their phone to their computer, here's how you do it.....
1. Press Settings.
2. Scroll down to More Settings (Blue)
3. Click More Settings (Black).
4. Scroll down to Others (Blue).
5. Click Developer options (Black).
6. Scroll down to DEBUGGING (Blue).
7. Scroll down to NETWORKING (Blue).
8. Click on Default USB Configuration.
9. Select File Transfer. (Black).
The default is File Transfer Off

Welcome to Android Central! Strange, it should't be that hard. Before you had to go to the Developer Option, did you try swiping down the notification panel (after connecting to the PC via USB) and then tapping the USB icon? That typically gives you the prompt to choose how to connect -- for Charge Only, MTP/File Transfer, and possibly a couple other options.
