Nexus 5@ the Airport security checks

Im going to Edmonton for a while and there will be multiple xrays and metal detectors will the phone break if it goes through them? If it is how do I get past?

I haven't been in an airport since we arrived in Canada in 1987. Two years ago I decided to finally go on a trip...Las Vegas!
