The new Google Maps - bug-ridden!

I had to uninstall the updates on Maps because it was so bad. Has anyone else had problems?

1. Navigation loses GPS signal about 4-5 times more than previous version

2. Sometimes the maps in Navigation don't load so you get a blurry, non-detailed image on screen (had this happen and even stopping/restarting wouldn't fix it)

3. Gets directions incorrect for some intersections or highway on-ramps

Going back to the old version fixed ALL the problems. And before I did that, I tested it against a friend's phone with the old maps/navigation. Theirs worked perfectly while the new maps/navigation continued to have problems while in the same car and same network (TMobile).

I used the Map/Navigation the next day I updated to 4.3. I have no issue with the Maps. In fact it worked very well. Got me to where I wanted to go.

I just used it on a 1100 mile trip and I didn't have any issues. Worked very well. Your car could be the reason why you're losing GPS signal.

I don't think so. Same car with 4.2 caused no issues. Also, seen a lot of people on the web stating they also are having the same issues with the new maps.
