hello,
I used to have an iphone for the past years (4S,5, 5s just for one week) and thought it?s
about time to try plain android.

So now I am trying to get used to the Android world. (Nexus 5 is a great phone, like it better as the returned 5S)

I have two things that bother me and that I can?t figure out.
1. how can you block the set ringer volume, so that it does not change when you accidently use the volume button.
I now there are apps to block it but is there a setting inside the OS ?

2. any setting inside the OS to show the battery level in percent in the upper status bar, or is an extra app needed ?

Thanks

I don't think you can display the battery percentage with Stock Android (although it's been awhile since I had stock).

Not sure about the ringer volume. Sorry.

I'm the same but went from IPhone 4 to HTC one and best decision ever. Regarding your second question I got battery widget from play store which is cheap and works well.
I also recommend nova prime and juice defender ultimate as paid apps that I've found most useful thus far
