Getting strange reading for storage used.

I am on the latest paranoid android ROM and I am getting a very odd reading for how much Internal storage I am using? I have 16gb version without that many apps on it. Truly there are not many. No big games at all. I have maybe 30 pictures, no movies. No books. NO music... NNothing really at all. But under apps in settings it says 1.2gbs left. Totally odd numbers. Plus look at the screenshots if i can get them on here.

You have backups? They can take a couple gigs for each one. The OS won't pick those up under the categories.

Thanks for the response. No i don't have a lot of backups. In fact i deleted all my titanium backups to check, as well as 3 old nandroids leavind me with 1. I know have 1.5gb. This is troubling. I feel have deleted every possible app i can.
I wish i could post a screenshot. It wont let me for some reason.
