Grainy wallpapers???

So i was trying to change my wallpaper on my nexus 7 and when i set it, it looked a bit grainy. I went to change it back and THAT one was grainy, even though it was perfectly crisp a moment ago. Now this happens to all my pictures when i try to set them as the wallpaper, or anything else. Is their a reason for this? Do i have some sort of virus?

Nope, it's not a virus. Did you update to 4.3 before changing the wallpaper? This seems to be a bug/shortcoming of the new release:
