Android pay at cvs

Has anyone tried to use Android Pay at CVS. I just tried and it told me to insert cart. It said that my card was a chip card. I've never had a chip in my card.

I've had no problems with Android Pay at CVS or anywhere else. What card do you have as your default? Is it a credit card or debit card?

NFC is proactively disabled at CVS. They did it right after Apple Pay was announced. I used my Google Wallet there all the time in the past, no more. Look up CurrentC by the consortium MXC with Google and you can read many stories about this.
