double contacts

When i look at my calendar all my face-book contacts are there 2 times. Also in the people part everyone is there twice. Any idea how to remove the second one? I went thru and linked them but its still a pain when i try to send a message to anyone.

I had this problem as well and I logged into google and deleted them there. You can select more than one to delete. Its faster that way.

If you log in to Google contacts there is a link to merge duplicate contacts. It will go through and find all the dupes and combine them and it's much faster than doing it manually.

Why don't you try using duplicate contact remover like Scrubly Duplicate Contacts Remover? This really works well for me. It's scans and manually deletes those duplicate contacts. Duplications are indeed frustrating issue. I have read a lot of sentiments with that one. I do experience the same problem. Just give it a try.. hope this helps. Thanks..
