Unlocked Hero work with ATT 3G?

I'm lookin at a Unlocked Android of some sort.

I want it to work on ATT 3G and have a on screen keyboard. I've heard the HTC Hero can do this, is that true? Are there any other android models that work on ATT 3G?

What about 2.0, can the Hero be upgraded to that?

You can try the GSM Version of the HTC Hero, but it has the chin and isin't as smooth as the Sprint HTC Hero. Not sure what the MHZ is on the GSM Hero though, double check that and if it will run on AT&T's 3G network.

The current GSM Hero will not work on any US 3G bands, unfortunately.

Actually I'm seeing that it will. It has to come from Telus though. They have same 3G as usa...
