I can't transfer files to my one. Keeps saying the device has either stopped or is not connected. I can view everything and even delete but not transfer onto. Any suggestions. I am rooted and have not had this problem, have transfered many roms sense rooted.

i cant for the love of me get stupid AFT to work. it keeps saying "no android device found".

the problem began after i updated to android 4.4 it seems.

MTP mode is enabled.

changing the USB port as the OP suggested was my last idea.

anyone who managed to fix this please help me. yes i googled the problem but i am not going to set up my phone up as a pendrive, nor am i rooting it, using samsung software, dropbox (there are too many files i need to transfer) or performing voodoo rituals.

of course, i am using a mac. (thank you google for making our lives miserable).

if anyone knows of a different file transfer app that actually works please let me know! i am *this* close to using HTC sync manager (don't pitty me yet!).

thanks.

EDIT: i rebooted my mac and AFT recognised my device again :p

it was right after i bought isyncr to solve my problem too lol... the irony.
