Hello
My HTC One went bad recently (couple of month already)
When I am on call, everything on the screen (on the home screen) gets pressed. Most often - Mute button and speaker button, often at the same time. If I click the "home" button, that hides the in call screen giving me just a home screen during active call, everything on my home screen gets pressed - all icons.
This has made using the phone impossible !!!
I checked the sensitivity sensor - it works OK, screen goes dark/black if I wave hand near it.

Can anyone help? The phone is unusable in the state it is in
Please !!!

Welcome to Android Central! That's odd--so the screen turns off on a call when the phone is up against your ear, but touches are still registering on the screen?

Yes. so the phone function becomes of a zero usefulness. I suspect this happened when I updated an OS end of last year .. but this is just my guess.
I have no formal proof of this notion. So, maybe just a coincidence
