Why won't my HTC One Mini turn on?

My HTC ONE MINI won't turn on!

Maybe a day or two ago, my phone started acting up and would shut off/crash and I would have to restart it. Recently I went to update it and then that's when it got worse. Now my phone will only load to the HTC logo and then will completely shut off. I've already tried the volume + power button thing and tried recovery and factory reset and neither worked. Also when I plug in the charger, the red LED doesn't come on. Please help!

It could be that the charger isn't working which would mean it doesn't have power to boot properly, but that doesn't fit with the earlier crashing. You may have to flash new firmware to your device. Try a different charger and maybe get the micro usb dock checked.

Old post but I remembered if you plug into a pc then search port for connection you should be able to boot phone on that way or plug in charger then press power and volume down till it vibrates .
