Anyone else rooting?

Seeing if there is anyone else enjoying the HTC to its capacity and unlocking it. I also currently running the viperU ROM, and it's amazing!

As much as I want to, I can't pull myself to do it. The last phone I rooted and ROM'd was the M8. With unlocked phones, it just seems unnecessary. Especially with all the security riff raff. I'd just rather keep my bootloader locked these days.

The ability to customize pretty much every visual aspect of your phone. Power and thermal tweeks to improve battery life. The ability to switch which firmware update you can get. The ability to completely uninstall all the preloaded apps. With viper you can choose to install all of the HTC apps that have disappeared, like music and gallery. Hit up the XDA forum and just read what you can do.
