Taken a few these past days. In my opinion the phone performs well.

Yeah, I was messing around with wide aperture. For two seconds of effort, I think the pics come out great. Can't wait to see what can be done with manual mode.
Ah ok that makes sense. Wide aperture is a fun tool but takes some tinkering to work well.

I did some back and forth between my Pixel xl2 and Note 8 and the Mate 10 Pro easily beat them both especially in low light. The Pixel XL2 was consistently darker and the color reproduction on the Note 8 was more on the yellow side. I just wish I can get faces a little better, I turned off beauty mode but still need to tweak a little more to get faces from being too filtered. But from a material subject standpoint the Mate 10 Pro blows every phone away as far as detail and color reproduction.

That's really awesome to hear! Makes me tempted to get one if it ever comes to Verizon.

I've read where the camera will detect motion in the scene and adjust the image settings to minimize blur. Motion is mostly a problem when lighting is not ideal and shutter speeds are longer. Anyone Mate 10/10 Pro owners have any experience with this new feature?
