So i recently got the Huawei P20 Pro and the video does not record sound.

Is there a reason that the video does not record any sound? I realise that whats app also has challenges with sound. The other person can't hear me when i am on a whats app call and when i try to record a voice note it also has a bit of static noise for a few seconds and than it's completely silent.

I was at a concert recently and all my videos don't have sound. Is there a way for the sound to be retrieved or is it lost for good?

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you given WhatsApp the permissions it needs for Microphone etc?

Yes, whats app has all the permissions it needs to work.
When using the camera to take videos it doesn't record sound.

I re-started the phone and it works for a while and than it goes back to square one.
