Facebook messenger problem.

I have Facebook messenger on my phone & it's been working fine but recently after an update it turned on the vibration for every message so I turned it off in settings but every morning it's turned on again & sometimes through the day vibrations will be turned on again. How can I get messanger to stop turning the vibrations on every day?

That's a Facebook bug, Lucy, not an Android bug. Email Facebook. (You won't be the first - developing good apps isn't high on their list of priorities.)
