Searched several forums this weekend for solution to disable annoying "battery fully charged notification". Other than "root" found
nothing. This works. Hold down the notification instead of clearing it. It takes you to system app, System IU (You can also get there under Settings>Notifications>Advanced>Show system apps>System IU also). Then Battery full>Importance>Select Low, "no sound or visual interruption". Recharged battery several times, never returned. Hopefully people can sleep at night now.

Thanks for the info, what phone was this for? The settings menu tends to vary between handsets.

This must be based on which phone or OS version you have, as I don't have that option. It's also not good for the long term life of the battery to charge to 100% in the first place. You're better off charging enough to get through the night, then top off if needed in the morning.

Sorry...this was on a Galaxy S7 on 8.0....MoonCatt I fully agree with both your statements but not everyone has a schedule or logistics that allow them to always put the brakes on at 80%.

Not trying to derail the thread, but was that a trucking reference? I drive for a living, so that reply held a lot of double meaning for me. Lol

No trucking reference intended....I'm just a gearhead.....Hmmm.....was "Not trying to derail the thread" a railroad reference though? lol
