Trying to bluetooth transfer contacts from LG V10 to LG G pad 10.1

The devices are paired, The transfer from the V10 to the G Pad is made. I get the notification a transfer was completed, but can't find the file. I've looked in File Manager, I've looked in Contacts, but no contacts. Any suggestions?

There's no file - it's a database file you need to be rooted to see (and you'll need a SQLite editor to look at the data in it).

Make sure all the contacts on the V10 are Google contacts (nor Device or Phone) contacts. Sync the contacts (in Accounts). Go to Accounts in the G Pad. Use the same Google account you have on the V10. Sync the contacts. Done. (You can change the account in the pad if you like, then sync it so it has its own backup, or use them both on the same account - it's your choice.)
