Home screen keeps resetting to stock! argh

I just got the LG G2 yesterday from Best Buy and my home screen randomly reverts to the stock home screen shortcuts amd widgets. My wallpaper and lock screen photos stay the same, none of my data is wiped, but everything else reverts. It came stock with several bloatware apps and i uninstalled them as soon as i got home. When the phone decides it doesn't like my home screen, all of those apps are magically reinstalled again. It does it randomly, even if I'm using it. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you rooted or unrooted?

Try booting into Safe Mode, which disables all 3rd party apps. If the problem persists, then there's an issue with your system software or hardware, and you should just ask for a replacement. If the problem goes away, it may be some app you installed (but unfortunately, you can't pinpoint which app very easily).

Since you just got the phone, the easiest thing would be to ask for a replacement before it's too late.

Thank you for your help, but I ended up exchanging the handset for a new one and haven't had any problems since.
