Why won't my LG G2 dial out on the first try (It sometimes take 2-3 times before the phone connects)?

My LG G2 won't dial out on the first try. It sometimes take 2-3 times before the phone connects.

My LG G2 won't dial out on the first try. It sometimes take 2-3 times before the phone connects to the person I'm trying to call. It seems to happen in all situations. Eventually, however I am able to connect. This has been happening for about a month and I've had the phone for about a year.

I dial, get the spinning "thinking" sign, and then I am kicked back to the dialpad screen. After a few goes at this, however, the call goes through (no spinning sign when it goes through).

Thoughts?

Take it in to your carrier and show them, to make sure it's not a problem on their end (bad SIM, badly provisioned account, tower problem, backhaul problem - all of those are things only they can fix).
