Which battery should I get for my LG G3? I got an original BY-53YH brand new one off of Amazon that was manufactured in 2017, but for some reason, it became worn out very quickly. After just a year or so of use, it started to die very rapidly. So which one should I get instead?

Did you let it drop below 40%? That would explain it. Or the battery was made in 2017 - from cells that were made in 2014. (That's one reason phones get replaced when they still work well enough for the owners - you can't get decent batteries for them after 4 or 5 years - they're all shot.)

Try charging it to 100%, then using it until it does completely. Do that cycle a total of 3 times. If that doesn't bring it back, consider it shot. (Then you can try your carrier, or LG, but you probably won't find any in better condition.)
