Is it worth getting a new G4??

I just grabbed a new G6 and I was going to give my girlfriend my G4 but it crapped out on me. She really likes this phone and I found a place that has brand new ones.

My question--- Is it safe buying a phone that was manufactured 2 years ago?

Smart? I am not so sure I would be purchasing a two year old phone with a history of motherboard issues. Any sort of updates are going to be an issue... just bad news. What price are they listing it at?

Yeah, the bootloop issues alone would make me not want to get one.

Killer is I had my g4 for 2+ years not love single problem - last week it turned off and that was it - would not turn on again.

Really liked my G4 while I had it.
So glad I got rid of it however.

Felt it was a matter of time before it made me frown.

I wouldn't chance another one.
