AT&T Optimus G on T-Mobile?

If I sold my phone to someone wanting to use it on T-Mobile plan, will it work for voice, txt, mms and hspa+ ?

Doesn't matter what phone it is. A phone will only work for another company if its unlocked or at and t has a partnership with T-Mobile which I doubt and since so, no it won't work.

Actually i found out that as long as the phone works on the 1900 frequency AND you have the 1900 frequency in your area, it WILL work.

Yes, it just needs to be unlocked. The APN settings also have to be changed.
