T-Mobile, Android 6, and bluetooth--improvements?

My T-Mobile V10 on 5.1 has some bluetooth issues. Specifically, it will randomly disconnect from--and usually reconnect to--my car while I'm talking. Others have reported the same thing.

So in addition to battery, I'm interested in if Android 6 addresses this particular bluetooth issue at all. Looking for feedback from the pioneers here.

Welcome to Android Central!

Have you received the update yet?

It's available to me via LG Bridge, but I'm holding out. The last time I updated Android was with a Galaxy S3; it absolutely ruined the phone in many ways, most annoyingly with battery life that went down to 3 or 4 hours. And of course, there was no way of going back. (I've sworn off Samsung in my life as a result of that experience. They denied everything, but a quick Google search showed otherwise.)

Before I update, I'm waiting for data from the field. But a big reason TO do the update is to fix the somewhat annoying bluetooth random disconnect issue. If that's fixed, and if reports of good battery life continue, I'll be more confident about MM on this platform.

There's plenty of feedback about the V10 and MM now. So what are you waiting for???? I'm on TMO and it's been very smooth. The fixes and additions are well worth the update. The battery life, which was noticeably worse for me the first few days, is back to where it was and I've actually noticed a slight improvement, thanks to Doze. DO IT!

Like I said, specifically for information on the known bluetooth cutout issue--better, worse, neutral.

It's only been since Monday morning that the update is out--not nearly enough time to gather the data necessary to know how well it will work overall long term. And if it doesn't fix the bluetooth cutout issue, I'd like to know that. So far, despite many people knowing this to be an issue in 5.1, no one is talking about it being fixed.

Haven't had any bluetooth issue on 6.0/TMO... not connected to a car tho... I'm using the LG Tone BT headset to listen to music all day at work... so far been hours upon hours and no issues...

Mine is connected to my car all the time. No problems. Using 6.0. But I'll be honest. I NEVER had Bluetooth connection issues with this phone. With Android 5.1 I had the phone for quite a while, and always had it connected to car via Bluetooth. No random disconnects. Always worked great. My wife has a v10 and also never had connection issues in the car... And she is still running 5.1

I didn't have any problems either for months, then all of a sudden it couldn't keep a connection to my home speaker and would occasionally drop the BT during calls in my car. Having said that though, it did this for about a month and has been perfect ever since. So I'm totally confused by it. I'm not sure if it is a software issue or hardware but I lean hardware.
