Touch broke down after updating my Motorola Moto g3 to Android 6.0.1

After updating my phone to the latest version of Android i.e. 6.0.1, the touch of my phone has completely ruined. While scrolling down, it takes my scrolling input as touch input thus opening apps and links as I scroll through websites, app drawer, etc... Tried formatting my phone's cached data, but still the problem is persisting....
Anyone having a fix for this??? Please help asap, I just can't use my phone, and this is my only phone...
