Notifications cleared after phone restart?

[Android Central Question]

Hi folks - new android user.

Purchased moto G7, use the default UI launcher.
Am using google Calendar for reminders.
The reminders show up great in the notification bar, and so does a nice blue dot.
However, upon phone restart, this dot and notification of ALL outstanding reminders are cleared.

Is there a way to always have outstanding notifications / google calendar reminders show-up after a phone reset?

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Restart or reset?
Reset, no.
Restart, maybe some depending on your settings.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you rebooting the phone on a regular basis? Unless the phone is behaving oddly, there's generally no reason to do that on an Android device.

Generically, notifications are temporary objects that are lost when the phone restarts.

Depending on which calendar app you are using, some calendar apps track the notifications so that their unacknowledged reminders are reloaded at startup. "CalenGoo" is one of these apps.
