The active notifications for missed calls and texts are useful, but I have not yet found a way to get my battery status to come up when the screen pulses or when I pick the phone up. Am I just being dense?

There is no active notification for battery other than an orange low notifier when your battery is low

The only way I've ever seen it on there is when the battery drops under either 15 or 20 percent (whichever low battery is) then the red battery icon does appear on the active notification pulses.
