Hi! I posted this in the Ask-A-Question before I remembered my account info here. 
Thought I'd ask in the right forum for my phone too.
Phone - Moto X Force (unlocked Droid Turbo 2)
OS - Android 6.0
I prefer the Moto Display notifications, and don't want to see the Android lock-screen notifications after that. It seems like if I completely disable notifications, I don't get the Moto Display ones either. My previous phone (Moto Maxx) worked this way, but was still on Lollipop. I don't remember if I had to do anything to set that up or if it was automatic. Any ideas?
