Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo amazon app

Is there a way to get rid of this huge amazon app on the screen? It won't remove. I can't make it smaller. It takes up the whole page. I would like room for more apps.

Long press and drag it up to the X "remove" (top center)

I've been trying since last night to drag it up to remove. It won't take it and I can't make it smaller. It takes up the whole page. No room for anymore apps.

Did you take the plastic off the screen?

But seriously, you have to drag it to the very top until it turns red. Another option is disabling all the Amazon apps from App Settings.

To add to this, it turns red when your finger reaches the "Remove" point - think about moving your finger to the Remove drop point.
