Mms trouble

Several times lately I have been getting picture in black and gray instead of color. It happens on the stock text app, handcent and go SMS. I don't know if it is my phone, memory card or the miui rom I'm running.

Any suggestions?

I would ask the person sending the pic if their device's camera isnt playing tricks on both of you

It's my wife's Droid X. She will send the same picture to someone else and it's fine.

I thought this post rang a bell. You asked the same thing in late Nov and I was the only reply about clearing data/cache in the apps involved w messaging on both devices. Guess that didnt work lol sorry it sidnt help. lets see who else can help.

I did post the same thing but didn't solve the problem. I tried your suggestions. Thanks but that didn't help. I happens sporadically and it popped up again so I thought I would give it one more try to see if anyone could help.

I have had this problem. If your wife is sending from go sms the image wont show. Idk why but mine had that problem so i used the default sms and it worked fine.
