I filmed a short video that I would like to upload to my FB account.

However, when I use Astro or mount my Droid to my Mac I am unable to locate ANY folder with the videos or photos inside it in the directory.

I've tried to attach the video to an email and even send it to my Dropbox. The Droid X won't do it. It lets me do the process but the video doesn't attach.

My Droid has superuser (rooted) status for tethering.

Can someone help me?

A non—rooted phone would have done that task easily. I'm bumping your thread so that someone with this expertise could see your post and try to assist you.

Good luck.

I am not a MAC user but when you mount unit and browse SD Card/DCIM/Camera is where the images and videos are stored...

Now as far as uploading to drop box you have to be on wifi for the device to allow you to send large images

Hope this helps

Which camera app are you using? As mentioned above, the default app puts *.3gp files in the dcim/Camera folder on the SD card. Also make sure your phone is in Mass Storage mode.

Ok, figured it out.

1. Mount Droid
2. Go to SD Card/DCIM/Camera
3. Drag and drop .3gp file to desktop
4. Wait until the process is complete, it take about 10 seconds
5. Upload the .3gp file from your desktop directly to Facebook.

WORKS!!!

Yep, that is the only way I know how do to it. I wish there were an option to upload the videos directly from the phone to Facebook though.
