Home Screen App Change

My Google Search/Voice Search box inadvertently moved to a side screen. I could not get it back to Home Screen so I put in Trash. When trying to reapply to Home Screen, I get the Voice Search icon but not the data entry box. Is there anyway to restore to the original icon with data entry associated?

longpress on the home screen, add widget

add the one called search.

FYI - If you want to move a widget or an shortcut from one screen to another screen... long hold on the shortcut/widget and move it so its hanging half off the screen in the direction of the screen you want to move it to... pause there still holding the shortcut/widget and the screen with shift to the next screen.
