Looking to swap i500 for i400

I have the i500, second one at that. First one the screen stopped working a week after i got it. Anyways, not happy with:

1. External speaker (phone, music)

2. As a phone, on both, very unhappy with call quality. Echo /reverb. A friend has the captivate and it does not have said issue.

3. Lag, running rooted and stock. I did not want to mess with voodoo until the i400 came out. I want to see if it has the same issues.

As a side note the Costco Wireless (non) Advocates have not even heard of the Continuum, or playing REALLY stupid about it.

Your thoughts? About the swap that is.

i looked it up and it seemed the i500 and 400 are some old flip phones.
is that what your talking about?

So sorry I have the fascinate, I500 and was looking to go to the Continuum, I400

Testing the Continuum right now. It also has noticeable UI lag and stutter and poor voice quality (possibly because I'm constantly off network).

Worth noting that I found neither were a problem with the Mesmerize, which is supposedly the same device as the Fascinate, without all the extra bloat and bing.
