Phantom Wifi hotspots appear in list

On my non-rooted P600 if have three wifi networks showing up as available and in the area. My device must have seen them while in my car because I recognize one of them from a nearby business.

The only problem is that these networks show up and as available even when I am miles away. Could it be that hidden networks are showing these names instead of just saying "hidden network" or is my device thinking they are still around for some reason.

Edit: Also of note is that these networks have MACs of all zeros. My Note 3 does not see them and neither does my laptop.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to long-press those networks and Forget them?

I am afraid not. Since they show up as local and available I am only prompted to connect to them. I have never connected to them before and they show up as secured.

When my tablet is on wifi a list will appear on what's in the area. I just ignore except for the one I can use.
