know a lot of people sweat bullets about a update.

I don’t care.
Don't do any banking on my phone.

Pictures don't need to be secure.

But I just got a JULY software update.
It had already downloaded. Dinged
Asked if I wanted to install it.
I said , go for it.

Did you get it.

My LG40 thinQ updated early this morning. It also updated in June....

Android version 10
Android security patch level June 1 2020 (obviously it didn't update this...)
Build number QKQ1.191222.002

I'm don't think it updated anything, although it said it had....

It was a software update and a update and security patch.

Something to do with the camera.
July 2nd.

Can't copy it.

Mine updated in June too.

Don't know.
Might be another update from June.

But it did it July 2nd.

I have a side screen on my note 10+ that I use.
One of the settings is screen capture.

The app for that disappeared with the update..
Had to get my wife to help me.
She could pull her screen over several times..i couldn't.
She figured out I had to to to settings..turn task, apps and everything back on..

Seems the update turned all that off.

Depends on what you take pictures of, I guess. But if someone gains remote control of your phone (which many vulnerabilities allow), they can activate the camera or microphone whenever they want. Also, do you have any texts or emails that you or your correspondents would like to be confidential? Any social media accounts you wouldn't want hijacked?

I play on the phone.

I'm retired. They can give me their email address.
I will send them all the emails about lies i tell.
Or fishing.
I get 100 plus women a day that wants to date me at 69 yr old.
They are from all over the world.

My wife said.
Delete thst junk.

Looks like it was just a carrier update than an adroid one as said above. Probably a security fix in file display or recordinding for bloatware.
