samsung email app notifications not going thru

So if an email is sent to my email address that is synced with the Samsung email app it doesn't show a notification icon on my always on screen or on my notification bar at the top. I have sync on.

It shows up just fine on my Note 9 though like usual but not my note 10 even though the settings are the same. What gives?

Edit I'm not geting any notifications for any apps. I have all the apps permissions turned on and all too for the apps I want.

Do I need to do a reset?

Lock screen, home screen notifiction bar, everything. They wont show.

Yep, it's on. I'm lost on what to do now. Really upset about this.

Long press a empty spot on your home page then tap home settings is app icon badge on ?

Try one last thing
Go phone settings >apps>tap 3 dots upper right corner and scroll to reset app preference see if that helps

Just did. No luck. I got a paper weight basically then. Not very happy.

Yeah not good
I'll test mine out tomorrow when it comes see if note 10+ has anything different , I don't see why it should.

Works fine here, and notifications work same as any other phone.

Gmail and samsung app are going through but slow. Like 5 to 10 minute delays. On my Note 9 it's showing up right away.

Is your Note 9 on Android P? I have seen delayed notifications because of doze in Android P. Not

Yea. It is. Notifications go though just fine on the Note 9.

Figured it out. Samsung email I had it set to sync every 15 minutes. I guess that's default

Factory reset and set it up as an new phone. Do not transfer anything over.
