How do i not let my phone charge when i connect it to my computer using a usb cable?

I really dont want my phone to charge when i use a usb cable from my note 10+ to my computer is there anyway to stop it from charging? I just want to transfer files from my computer to my note 10 plus but it always charges my phone.

Should be option for that in notifications panel when u hook the phone to the computer

i know there is but it dont matter right when i plug it in to my pc it starts charging no matter what option i choose try it yourself and let me know.

I don't know if you can stop it from charging. At least I don't recall a way.

you cant...unless you are some tech guy with surgery instrument and skills and you can open the cable and remove the power cable...which is usually Red in color...
