Phone stopped making calls until reboot

I picked up the phone to make a call, and it wouldn't. It'd sit on the screen saying "Dialing..." but nothing ever happened. After about 30 sec, it'd say, "Call ended." I tried four different numbers, and also turned off wi-fi just in case.

Finally, I rebooted it. When it came back up, it made the call just fine. I even turned Wi-Fi back on and that didn't cause any problems either.

Any idea what may have caused this? I don't have any power savers or task managers that would interfere with calls.

Next time I would try toggling airplane mode first. Sometimes just the radio seems to get locked up or something.
