the latest at&t update added a weather display to my lock screen - I want to remove it

long press and drag to garbage maybe? not sure but this is how it usually works.

Not sure either, without Lollipop, but if you still have a Multiple Widgets option, you should be able to change it there after changing the secure screen lock to swipe to access it, if I remember.

Go to your lock screen settings. Click on Additional Information. Uncheck Weather.

Btw, the answer that Oilfield gave is for the S-View Cover.
