Allshare Video to vizio smart tv?

Just a question for those that have both Note 4 and Vizio smart TV, can you stream just using the DLNA built into that TV or you need to buy separate hardware? I know Samsung smart tvs you are good without anything.

Wired - you need an MHL-to-HDMI converter.

Wireless - Chromecast is probably best.

Samsung phones can mirror to Samsung TVs, but not to others. (I use Chromecast from my Note 3 to my Vizio.) I don't know if the Chromecast app will mirror from a Note 4 (it does from the 3), but this is a list of Chromecast supported apps. They'll cast to a Chromecast from any phone.

I've never been able to stream to my vizio. I have a Samsung smart DVD player that I steam to instead.
