Why isn't my Note 4 S Pen detected when attached?

note 4 spen not detected when attached

My spen settings are correct but upon removal the notes don't appear (when locked) and after a restart no pen detected message appears. I have tried 2 pens and doesn't detect and 2 colleagues pens that are detected. All pens work on the screen. Is this just bad luck with 2 stylus or is it just a bit flakey!

What notes? When I remove my pen while my screen is locked (and screen is off), the only thing that happens is the screen turns on. I'm using a fingerprint lock screen in case that matters.

Yup, sounds like both your pens are messed up. They're electronic, so it can happen.

Sorry I set action memo to open when the pen is removed. The pen works on the screen just not detected in the cradle. Guessing the pens are prone to not working in this way or I've just been unlucky.

Never ever taken my pen out. Don't need it.

I'm facing the same issue, any of you guys got it fixed? My S-pen works well but seems that after a restart the wild "no pen detected" message appears. this is the best topic about this issue please reply.
