Yeh tried that option as well. Advised to send phone to their Device Support center for Replacement with Certified Phone / verification of settings.

You need to get a better customer care person. Did you try to get them to elevate you to advanced customer care?

This is irritating me. Look at the Android system usage. Total use not great either. Again I think it's combo of WiFi and Cell on Verizon causing issues.

You can also use Tapatalk to view pretty much any forum there is.

And as far as I know, the android forum app uses the backend programming of Tapatalk.

Yes, there is am AC Forums app that is just the forums, not the main page of Android Central. I have both AC apps and Tapatalk also.

A couple times I have charged overnight with the furnished cord. In the morning I am only at 90 or 92%. How do I get it to charge to 100%?

The furnished cord should do it and do it on fast charge, it shouldn't take long to charge it to 100%. If the cord isn't working correctly, I would send it to Samsung and let them send me a new one.

I plan on putting it on the charger when it drops to 20% to limit my excessive use of it, but the battery life on this thing makes me so happy everyday, especially coming from the note 4. Even with heavier usage than I had with my note 4, the note 5 just lasts for my usage.

- cell signal is exceptionally low
- Google Now/Frequent location updates
- Are you using Google Wallet by chance?

How do I know? Looks exactly like my issues. I found a way to reduce a large amount of it, but in the end, I'm always near a wireless charger so I started caring less.

Some people report turning off Advanced Calling fixed all their issues, but I didn't see a difference.

Yep, Verizon....cell signal I can't change but yea I am sure that has an impact, although never noticed it with other phones.

The location thing is interesting because a lof of the time when I unlock phone, it shows finding location...guess I will try google now off and see hwat happens. not using google wallet and I actually like the HD calling feature...thanks for reply

I came from Iphone 6 Plus to Note 5 the only thing i do not like about this phone is life of its battery. Is there anyway to improve it when comparing apples to apples with IP 6 plus? Same brightness, blue tooth, wifi and so on. My test show that I phone last up to 30% more when it comes to battery life.
