Stock gallery app

I am new to this forum so I apologize if this question has already been asked. When I first bought the note the gallery app sorted the pictures by a specific date the picture(s) was/were taken. Now for some reason the actual date is no longer visible and only the month populates. I am not sure if the app was updated, but previously I was able to pinch and zoom in to the specific dates. For example, pictures taken on Christmas would show 12/25/2015 - now it only shows Dec, 2015. This functionality was extremely useful to see when the picture(s) were taken. Are others experiencing this? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you j

Click on the picture you want information on, click more, then details. You will now see the date the picture was taken and whole lot more
