I have used it, but only if I have a really crappy connection. Mine is in a diff place than yours tho (see pics) - I'm on Verizon.

(Can I ask who your carrier is - just noticed they misspelled "Dialing" as "Dialling", lol.)

It's UK unlocked but running a BT Sim which uses EE network, I think it may be another of those words which gets changed slightly as it goes over the pond, like Grey and Gray lol.

Mine isn't on the screen either. See my screenshots above - it's in the menu options (per call toggle).

to be honest, i can't say the volume is noticeably higher after selecting 'extra volume' is turn on.
