wifi and data on at same time

Updated to pie and now data and wifi icon is on at same time...Note 8 on Verizon!!!!

Check the developer options in your phone settings for that option. I actually prefer leaving it on. The phone will use Wi-Fi data, but MMS messages require a mobile data connection.

This happens from time to time on my NOTE 9, s9+ and s10+ then goes away after awhile never traced what makes that happen but I think either Google services like location or something does it.

I can't remember mine being any different either, wifi symbol with 4G above it
