Why did my phone layout change on my Samsung Galaxy S21 running Android 11?

Recently my layout on my phone changed, I am not sure if something happened in my pocket or something else. My app view used to be in pages, that were sorted alphabetically. Now it is in a lost view where I have to scroll down through all of them. I also do not see any of my folders that would show up on the first page, where I had apps grouped together. I have gone through the settings and can't figure out what caused this.

There is also an ad for sponsored apps that shows up at the top of the list.

Any information would be appreciated, thank you.

This is what happens when I click the 3 dots. I couldn't find any option to get it back to how it used to be. And there were never ads before.

Also, the icons just seem to have a different look. I thought maybe it was a software update or something, but can't figure out what caused it.

Those settings never seen on my Samsung or you in beta , i see u posted android 11 is that a mistake?

Looks like you may have downloaded some crapware app that has hijacked your launcher... Go to settings, apps , choose default apps, home app and let us know what's there. If your not using a custom launcher, it should be set to one UI home.

Looks like a custom Rom or beta , i know you have the international version does your home screen settings look like that ?, im assuming no usually Samsung UI pretty standard between all devices.

No, I checked what the one UI home settings look like before posting, because I'm used to Nova settings.

They're nothing like that.

Welcome to the forums. It seems that you are using a third party launcher, select 'About' in that last screen and see what you get. Do you have any launcher starting with "We...", maybe Weather Home?

Thanks everyone for all the help. Thr home app had changed to Weather Home, not sure how. I leave my screen on sometimes, and funny things happen in my pocket at work.

Glad you figured it out! If you never installed Weather Home, then it's possible that some other app installed it for you -- perhaps it prompted you, and you unwittingly agreed to its installation.
