Hey guys... just looking for some help here. I'm pretty tech-sav etc but this is my issue: My S3's bluetooth is constantly getting over sampled, cutting out etc.
I'm using a stock S3 on Verizon paired with a Plantronics Voyager Legend. The connection is iffy at best, even with the phone held near my chest; typically in the car I place it in my lap or hold it up with my arm on the window (ie: police trap).
I've tested the headset with my MacBook Pro I can walk over 30' from my laptop before the audio cuts out and I get the "computer is disconnected"... with the S3, I can only walk ~10ft before getting disconnected and the audio is garbage even getting up from my desk.
Switching from the headset to holding the phone to my ear or speaker phone returns crystal clear audio. Streaming music also has the same issues, so it's not just calls...
Are there any settings, rooted or not, that I can change to up the power output on the Bluetooth radio?
